 Front View of Bed & Breakfast Catch of the Day 4/13/2005 Killdeer video Whispering Pines Lodge is a Bed & Breakfast focused on Extended Stay guests. We offer 2 guest rooms, situated on a private 4.6 acre secluded wildlife pond. Guestrooms open up to the pond with many water birds. A wide array of outdoor enjoyment may be found with the pond, walking paths and bikeway. Indoor fun with the pool table, exercise equipment, relaxing wicker furniture, DISH TV and Nature videos. Close to town for convenience, but far enough to be quiet--microphones are used to pipe the bird sounds inside. Whispering Pines is located 7 minutes from the interstate and 5 minutes from downtown Auburn. Ft. Wayne International Airport is approximately 35 minutes from Whispering Pines. About the Lodge: John designed the lodge and we built it ourselves with a lot of help from family and friends. The Lodge utilized salvaged doors from the Purdue Memorial Union building. Whispering Pines offers quiet comfort and gracious hospitality, including a kitchenette, family room, recreation room, and bikeway/walkway, clothes washer/ dryer. Auburn is home to several museums and we are also located with in 25 miles of Pokagon State Park and Fort Wayne, Indiana. We maintain an information rack with discount tickets to many local attractions. Festivals, Auctions, Fairs, Homecomings, Reunions Class A RV hook-up is now available.
Whispering Pines Lodge Bed & Breakfast has a smoke free interior. We now have both a young Lab and Cat living in the none guest areas. |
